    Welcome to the DFL Website. The specific objectives of the Delaware Football League are to familiarize all participants with the fundamentals of football, and all cheerleaders with the fundamentals of cheerleading, and to provide an opportunity to participate in a supervised, organized, and safety oriented manner. 
      We are proud to be able to offer the children of our community the opportunity to participate in football and cheerleading, in an environment filled with community spirit.  We are also pleased to state that we have over400 children participating in our program from ten townships in eastern Pike and Monroe Counties.
      We are always looking for volunteers for our various committees. If you have a particular area of expertise, and you would like to donate your time and services, we would greatly appreciate it. As important as volunteers are to help run the league, it is equally as important that the community support the DFL by participating in our fundraising efforts, and by helping the league ascertain sponsorship money.
   These are exciting times for all of us involved in the football community.  We are pleased to announce that the Delaware Valley High School Head Football Coach Keith Olsommer, the East Stroudsburg North High School Head Football Coach Chuck Daly, and the Lehman Intermediate School Head Football Coach Brian Mitchell have all volunteered to be advisors to the DFL. Jennifer Simonsen, the Delaware Valley High School Head Cheerleading Coach has also volunteered to sit on the DFL board as our Cheerleading Advisor.
    We would like to thank all of the people who have volunteered their time. Without you, none of this would be possible!

Our Committees

Building and Grounds:  Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all buildings, grounds, and concession stand.  Chairperson:  Volunteer Needed

By-Laws:  To update existing by-laws.  To interpret the by-laws along with the league commissioner.  Chairperson:  Dave Larson

Discipline:  Shall investigate all complaints referred to it by the Board of Directors, and report findings to the Board.  Committee shall keep written records of the proceedings.  Chairperson: Mike Muldoon

Equipment:  Shall be responsible for all equipment.  Maintain, store, and issue equipment as required.  Shall not loan equipment without Board approval.  Chairperson:  Volunteer Needed

Fundraising and Sponsorship:  Fundraising projects are subject to Board approval.  Chairperson: Colleen Noone

Publicity:  Shall establish a program for getting the league as much publicity as possible.  Chairperson:  Joe Fagan

Rules, Regulations, and Officials:  To define and uphold the rules and regulations of the league.  Committee shall consist of one delegate of each team.  Chairperson:  Paul Matarazzo

Concession and Sales:  Will be responsible for stocking and inventory of concession supplies and scheduling assistance.  Responsible for the sale of league merchandise.  Chairperson:  Lee Malone

Finance:  Responsible for setting budget and report all financial issues to the Board.  Chairperson: Cyndi Muldoon

Announcement:  Responsible for announcing game highlights and advertising during games.
Chairperson:  Volunteer Needed
