Welcome to the DFL Website. The specific objectives of the Delaware Football League are to familiarize all participants with the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, and to provide an opportunity to participate in a supervised, organized, and safety oriented manner.
We are proud to be able to offer the children of our community the opportunity to participate in football and cheerleading, in an environment filled with community spirit. We are also pleased to state that we have over 400 children participating in our program from ten townships in eastern Pike and Monroe Counties.
We are always looking for volunteers for our various committees. If you have a particular area of expertise, and you would like to donate your time and services, we would greatly appreciate it. As important as volunteers are to help run the league, it is equally as important that the community support the DFL by participating in our fundraising efforts, and by helping the league ascertain sponsorship money.
These are exciting times for all of us involved in the football community. We are pleased to announce that the Delaware Valley High School Head Football Coach Keith Olsommer, the East Stroudsburg North High School Head Football Coach Chuck Dailey, and the Lehman Intermediate School Head Football Coach Brian Mitchell have all volunteered to be advisors to the DFL. Jennifer Simonsen, the Delaware Valley High School Head Cheerleading Coach has also volunteered to sit on the DFL board as our Cheerleading Advisor.
